Accessibility statement

Our commitment
Health Angels wants everyone to be able to use this website, with or without a disability. Our goal is to meet the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, and the Lei Brasileira de Inclusão da Pessoa com Deficiência (Brazilian Inclusion Law, Law No. 13,146/2015).
Available features
- A “Skip to content” link at the top of every page, visible when it receives focus.
- Full keyboard navigation, with focus always visible.
- An “Accessibility settings” panel in the header: high contrast, text size, pausing animations and VLibras (translation into Libras, Brazilian Sign Language).
- Support for the system’s reduced motion preference (prefers-reduced-motion).
- Alternative text for images and for the ecosystem diagram, with text and accordion versions.
- Forms with associated labels, descriptive error messages and alerts announced by screen readers.
- The full website in Portuguese, English and Spanish, with the language of each page declared.
Known limitations
- VLibras is an external service provided by the Brazilian Federal Government; it depends on that service being available.
- Responses from the Angel virtual assistant are generated by AI and may vary in clarity. For important questions, please use the form or our direct channels.
How we evaluate
The website is reviewed with keyboard navigation tests, color contrast checks, screen readers and automated tools. New content goes through the same checks before publication.
